Emerging Markets Dialogue on Local Currency Bond Markets & Infrastructure Finance

In cooperation with the German Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and the Financial Services Authority of Indonesia (OJK), the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), the People’s Bank of China (PBoC) and GIZ jointly organized the symposium Emerging Markets Dialogue on Local Currency Bond Markets & Infrastructure Finance. The objective of this symposium to was to jointly develop solutions for challenges in Asia’s capital markets and to leverage private capital for infrastructure finance. Based on the principles of an innovative cross-fertilization process, representatives from emerging economies and international experts shared their success stories and lessons learned to discuss with peers possible solutions for similar challenges.
